(Blu Bangle) respects the privacy of its members and other online visitors (“Users”) to its website and takes data protection seriously.  Please take a few minutes to read the policy so you understand how we treat your personal information. How is Information Collected?

Information is gathered in a number of ways:

• Personal information is collected when you provide your information directly to us such as when registering with Blu Bangle, purchasing a Membership (monthly or weekly program), purchasing a gift certificate, signing up for Regular Updates, emailing/writing to us and calling us.
• Non-Personal information is collected through our website's technology used to track the nature and use of our website.
• Information is also collected by way of “cookies” (see below).

What Personal Information is Collected?

If you register with Blu Bangle or sign up for Regular Updates, we will hold personal information including your Username and Password.

If you purchase a Blu Bangle Membership or gift certificate, we will also hold personal information including your name, e-mail address, phone numbers and home address so we can process your registrations and/or orders. Credit card details will be entered directly into a third party’s payment system and will not be transmitted or held on Blu Bangle systems.

If you contact us by way of email, mail or telephone, we will collect your sender information and any other information you voluntarily disclose.

If you browse the Blu Bangle website, we collect non personal information about your use of our website including information on pages visited, times and volume of use as well as traffic data such as logs, details of networks, time of logon or access and length of sessions.

On occasion, we may require you to provide your telephone number which may be given to a third party courier to use in the course of delivery services.

How Does Blu Bangle Use my Information?

Blu Bangle may use personal information collected for the processing of orders and/or payments and to provide you with a personalised experience on the Blu Bangle website. We will also use your details to fulfil and deliver orders and to manage your Membership account.

Personal information collected may also be cross-checked with credit agencies to prevent fraud. Where there is a legal obligation to do so, we may disclose such personal information to any relevant regulatory body.

If you choose to opt-in for Blu Bangle’s Regular Updates service, we will send you alerts on new products, features and enhancements, special offers, upgrade opportunities, contests and events of interest.  From time to time, we may also promote the products and services of their business partners. You have the option at any time to unsubscribe from the Regular Updates (email admin@blubangle.com).

Blu Bangle may share statistical information about site traffic, sales and other commercial information with trusted third party business partners or affiliates but these statistics do not include any information which can identify a User personally.

Blu Bangle may from time to time send non-promotional e-mail to all Members for the purpose of gathering data to provide better services. You will be under no obligation to reply or answer questions in non-promotional e-mail which may include, but will not be limited to, surveys, maintenance notices and system updates.   

How is Information Stored?

We endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. All the data collected by us is stored on a secure server behind a dedicated firewall. The secure server software encrypts all information sent from the browsing session to or from the payment gateway as well as any information provided through the Blu Bangle website.   

What are Cookies?

A cookie is a piece of information that is stored on your computer's hard drive by its web browser which tracks your movements within websites. The Blu Bangle website uses cookies to keep track of how often each Website User visits the Blu Bangle website, the details of previous purchases and orders and to provide content which we think may be of interest to you. Most browsers are automatically set to accept cookies but you can always choose to alter the browser settings to prevent automatic acceptance of cookies. 

How do I Opt Out?

You can cancel your Membership or registration with Blu Bangle at any time by contacting us.  You can cancel your subscription to our Regular Updates at any time by emailing admin@blubangle.com.  If you cancel your membership, registration or Regular Updates service with Blu Bangle, you can choose to have your name and personal data completely removed from Blu Bangle’s database by contacting us.

How is my Personal Information Protected? 

Member information is password-protected. You should not to provide your password to anyone. Blu Bangle does not give any passwords to anyone and recommends that, if you share computers with other people, you close your browser window when your session is completed.

Blu Bangle will maintain appropriate safeguards to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of any information provided by you. The Blu Bangle website uses a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption which encrypts any information provided by you before it is sent to Blu Bangle to protect such information from unauthorised use.
